He has handled multi-million dollar projects at clients including Amtrak, Lockheed Martin, Fannie Mae etc. His management style combines the ability to understand changing technology trends and then build highly motivated teams to execute projects fast and provide clients right solutions.
Mr. Garlanka is an alumnus of Georgetown University with an MBA. He also has MS in Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. In addition to degrees in management and engineering, he has more than 15 years of Information Technology experience.
Madhu Garlanka has over twenty years of progressive experience in the information technology industry, then highlighting a proven track record in software product delivery. Experienced in implementing agile software methodology and processes for iterative, rapid software delivery. Build strong teams, implements organizational and process improvements that ensure the on-budget delivery of software products.
In her last working assignment as Sr. Director – Advisory Board company in the year 2008, she along with her team delivered business intelligence tools for efficient management of Nursing, Emergency Care and Surgical facilities operations to over 120 hospitals to increase productivity, efficiency, and quality of healthcare delivery.
She is a mentor, a people-first leader and has a knack for simplifying the most complex problems.Separate from her passion for deep technology, Madhu Garlanka is a strong advocate for social upliftment of the less destined in the society and runs a non-profit organization supporting education delivering highly subsidized education and a free meal to over 300 underprivileged students
She holds a Masters in Business Administration from Darden Business School, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA; Master of Science, Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology and Bachelor of Science -Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
For the first decade of her career, Katie worked in the commercial real estate sector managing international supply chain, construction operations, and business development strategy. Since 2012, Katie has focused on serving emerging and high-growth firms in their efforts to commercialize innovative services and technologies. She has worked for a private equity firm focusing investments in renewable power generation, with a government contractor bringing to market an IoT energy efficiency & security solution, a big data/AI solution provider of an open-source business intelligence serving multinational customers across North American & Europe and an innovative cybersecurity firm based in Tel Aviv. Most recently, she served as a strategy consultant with Allwyn during the development of their ingenious property data solution, OneRoof, and is excited about the growth ahead as this product is now ready for wide-spread market adoption!
Katie is a Washington DC native, proudly holds a BS and MS in Biology from James Madison University, as well as an MBA from the Darden School at UVA. Katie serves on the advisory board of Young Life’s Eastern Division, as a leader at National Community Church and is active in Darden’s Women’s Initiative and DC Alumni chapter.
Judy leads business development and provides analysis and recommendations for key business decisions that impact the overall business portfolio. She develops and cultivates industry relationships, external interviews, and the presentation of qualified applicants to clients and maintains existing relations with key personnel. Her unique blend of expertise and experience helps to generate new business and increase revenue for the firm, through the cultivation of new business with potential clients and former clients.
